the plan

When you have your window, you just have it. Choose to take it or don’t. As my sifu says: a small idea can quickly become very powerful.

Yes the whole escapade might be borne out of a desperate and somewhat unjustified need to regain a kind of anonymity, to disconnect from the confusion you leave behind each time you do it, or for that delicious and palpable serenity that being groundless gives, but when you have facilitated the burgeoning of your children and the deaths of your parents, when competition and angst and fantasies are seeming dull, when you have done analysing your failings down to the atomic structure  –  maybe it is simply a good time to go.
